First National Law was founded by life partners Dr Rebecca Johnson (PhD) & Dr Simon Pearce (ASWW, STEP Aff, MBA, PhD) to support an aging population in putting the right plan in place.
As a neuroscientist working with Alzheimer’s disease, chronic pain and stroke, Simon encountered families and patients facing enormous financial challenges. Many of which might have been mitigated, had affairs been put in order ahead of time (or been swiftly accessible). As an older adult psychologist in the NHS, Rebecca was familiar with the hurdles to planning, subjectively experienced (though rarely discussed) by those who feel increasingly isolated with age.
